2X01 LITTLE GREEN MEN (Aired - 09/16/94)

After the death of Deep Throat, and with Scully being re-assigned to teaching at Quantico. Mulder, as the X-Files become bogged down in surveillance work, begins to lose his belief in the truth. Contacted by a friend on the hill, Mulder goes AWOL to Puerto Rico to the abandoned SETI Program site, in search of contact with intelligent alien life form. It doesn't take Scully long to find him, but they must gather evidence quickly, before the Blue Beret team can destroy everything.

2X02 THE HOST (Aired - 09/23/94)

The discovery of a decomposing body in a New Jersey sewer, which Mulder dismisses as another gangland killing. Scully, handles her reassignment more professionally, insisting on doing the autopsy which then reveals a parasite in the dead body. When a sewage worker is attacked in the sewer, Mulder discovers a mutant killer. Scully's investigation reveals the new species arrived on a ship that was used to dispose of material from the Chernobyl accident. The conclusion is that nature didn't make it, mankind did.

2X03 BLOOD (Aired - 09/30/94)

After a rash of street killings in the small town of Franklin, Mulder is asked to build a profile, by the local police department. The only link between the each incident seems to be that none of the perpetrators had a previous history of violence. All incidents involved damage to electronic devices at the scene, and all died at the hands of the local police, after refusing a request to desist. Mulder also learns he has a friend at the FBI.

2X04 SLEEPLESS (Aired - 10/07/94)

Mulder receives an audio cassette in his morning paper, drawing his attention to the death of a scientist consistent with death by burning. There is no evidence of fire however. Mulder is assigned to the case, but is burdened with an unwanted partner, Alex Krycek. Investigating a second murder leads him to a secret squad from the Vietnam war, and also to a military experiment aimed at eradicating sleep and fatigue. It appears that one member of the squad who has developed the ability to kill using the power of his mind, is trying to atone for all the sins (from the war).

2X05 DUANE BARRY (Aired - 10/14/94)

When ex-FBI agent Duane Barry escapes from a mental hospital then takes his doctor and three other people hostage in a Travel Agency, Mulder is called by the Hostage Negotiation Team because Duane Barry claims to be an abductee. Despite warnings from the hostage team, it's not long before Mulder seems to be buying into Duane Barry's fantasy. Meanwhile Scully's investigation into Duane Barry's bizarre behaviour reveals Duane Barry is not who, or what Mulder thinks he is.

2X06 ASCENSION (Aired - 10/21/94)

Mulder frantically searches for Duane Barry after Scully is kidnapped. He struggles alone, without the support of his new partner, his supervisors, or his contact within the FBI. Mulder is on his own... When a police photo from a traffic violation leads him to Duane Barry, he can do nothing to save Scully...

2X7 3 (Aired - 11/04/94)

While Scully is still missing, and with no one to trust, Mulder immerses himself in his work on the recently re-opened X-Files. When a man is murdered in Washington, Mulder recognises it as the work of a trio of serial killers with a fetish for drinking the blood of their victims, who he has been following for some time. But he has trouble deciding whether the vampire fetishist, Kristen, is a criminal or a victim.

2X08 ONE BREATH (Aired - 11/11/94)

Scully, suddenly re-appears in a DC Hospital without any explanation for the her condition. Informed by the Lone Gunman that Scully has been poisoned with a mutant form of her own DNA, Mulder feels helpless, as Scully's family struggle with the life or death decisions. Frustrated by official response, he decides to track down Scully's assailants. Hampered by their shadow like existence, Mulder may be forced to become like them who work against him.

2X09 FIREWALKER (Aired - 11/18/94)

The only contact with a volcanic research team is a malfunctioned exploration robot called Firewalker, who's camera reveals a dead body lying on the surface of the erupting volcano, Mulder is asked to investigate, despite his concern for Scully, she flies out, with him the site. Confronted by a hostile population of survivors and the possibility of a new Silicon based life form, Scully's medical expertise is all that might save them.

2X10 RED MUSEUM (Aired - 12/09/94)

When Wisconsin teenagers start staggering out of the woods with 'He is one' scrawled on their backs, Mulder and Scully travel to the heart of America's cattle country to investigate. They encounter a vegetarian sect of 'Walk Ins', a peeping-tom, and an old adversary mixed up in genetically engineered cows. They have to work fast to identify the culprit as evidence begins to disappear rapidly.

2X11 EXCELSIS DEI (Aired - 12/16/94)

When Scully brings Mulder a case involving the alleged entity rape of a nurse in a Massachusetts convalescent home, Mulder is sceptical because of past experiences on such cases. However, a crime has been committed and Scully is determined to solve it. No one is more surprised than Mulder when Scully's intuition is proven to be more than accurate.

2X12 AUBREY (Aired - 01/06/95)

A small town police woman discovers the remains of an FBI agent, in a field, he had been sent to investigate a serial killer, but instead had been declared missing for nearly half a century. The police woman cannot explain how she found the body, Mulder believes it is more than just luck. When evidence appears suggesting the serial killer might have re-appeared, and killing another victim, Mulder and Scully investigate the police woman's recurring visions to determine the identity of the killer.

2X13 IRRESISTIBLE (Aired - 01/13/95)

A female corpse is discovered, unearthed, and mutilated. A Minnesota agent makes contact with Mulder and Scully believing it to be the work of aliens. Mulder who has seen this before, recognises it to be a sexual deviance case. Scully struggles to accept the horror of the case. After another death and mutilation of a prostitute, Mulder goes on the trail of what he believes is an escalating fetishist. Even Mulder is shaken when it appears that Scully could be his next victim.

2X14 DIE HAND DIE VERLETZT (Aired - 01/27/95)

A group of teenagers fake an occult ritual at a woodland alter, which causes the death of one of their group, something evil is unleashed in the local community. As Mulder and Scully deal with frogs falling from the sky, water running backwards down drains, and accusations of witchcraft, the real occult worshippers attempt to cover their tracks to re-affirm their beliefs before it is too late.

2X15 FRESH BONES (Aired - 02/03/95)

A marine at a camp for Haitian refugees slams his car in to a tree, Mulder and Scully are called in by the soldier's grieving wife, to investigate his apparent suicide, fearing there might be voodoo involvement. Investigating the torrid world of voodoo curses, zombified soldiers, and claims of military brutality, Mulder and Scully attempt to discover the truth behind the deaths.

2X16 COLONY (Aired - 02/10/95) (Part One)

Anonymous email posting draws the attention of Mulder and Scully to the deaths of two identical doctors, killed in the same way in the north eastern states. When a newspaper advertisment of the doctors results in the murder of several people with identical faces, Mulder and Scully attempt to locate another look-a-like before the killer does. The case takes a dramatic change of direction when Mulder's long lost sister surfaces claiming the doctors are all alien clones.

2X17 END GAME (Aired - 02/17/95) (Part Two)

Scully is taken hostage by a mysterious bounty hunter and held for ransom in exchange for Samantha, Mulder sets a trap that goes awry. Angered at the knowledge that he has once again lost his sister. Mulder tracks the bounty hunter, in a effort to find his sister, but instead is exposed to deadly alien poison, and is dumped in the arctic. Scully tries desperately to find Mulder before it is too late.

2X18 FEARFUL SYMMETRY (Aired - 02/24/95)

After the death of a federal employee and the destruction of personal property, appears to be linked to an escaped invisible elephant. Mulder and Scully investigate the local zoo, it is distinguished from other zoos by the fact that there had never been a successfull captive animal birth. A mecca for pressure from animal rights groups, It seems the only place to find the answer is in a cage of an ape taught to use sign language.

2X19 DOD KALM (Aired - 03/10/95)

When the USS Ardent disappears off the Norwegian coast, in a area Mulder refers to as the second Bermuda Triangle, the only survivor is a wrinkled 28 year old, Mulder and Scully set out to find the ship, that Mulder thinks might be part of a modern day Philadelphia Experiment. Scully is interested in the cause of the accelerated aging, that advances decades in only a matter of days, the ship, a rusted wreck, was commissioned, 4 or 5 years earlier, in 1991.

2X20 HUMBUG (Aired - 03/31/95)

The death of 'Alligator Man' in Gibsontown, a retirement community for circus performers, sends Mulder and Scully to search for paranormal activity as they investigate a long standing series of ritualistic killings with apparently no known pattern. Mulder is preoccupied with the mythical Feegee Mermaid, and another suspect, Dr Blockhead, who can hammer nails up his nose and the sheriff who was once the "Dog-Faced boy". Nothing seems normal in this place, Scully looks for a normal suspect.

2X21 THE CALUSARI (Aired - 04/14/95)

A balloon moving against the wind in a photograph, taken moments before a young boy's death, the only clue, Mulder and Scully investigate a Romanian family. Scully is convinced that a rare form of child abuse by proxy is at work. Mulder is more interested in the beliefs of the Grand Mother and a strange group of elderly chanters called the "Calusari".

2X22 F.EMASCULATA (Aired - 04/28/95)

Agents Mulder and Scully are assigned to assist the Federal Marshal's office in a man-hunt for two escaped prisoners. They are confused about the reason for the involvement of the FBI. Further investigation reveals a out-break of a highly contagious, deadly disease in the prison. While Scully is detained in the prison, Mulder hunts down the two possibly contaminated escaped prisoners, they both suspect the incident as an attempt to eliminate them, and debunk the X-files.

2X23 SOFT LIGHT (Aired - 05/05/95)

A number of people disappear, leaving only a black stain on the floor, Mulder and Scully are asked to assist a former student of Scully's, doing her first investigation. Mulder thinks it might several incidents of spontaneous human combustion, until he finds a scientist afraid of his own shadow. Scully, and her student Kelly Ryan, are sceptical of Mulder's theory of new physics and dark matter.

2X24 OUR TOWN (Aired - 05/12/95)

When a poultry inspector disappears in Dudley, Arkansas, a rare but non-contagious disease crops up in a statistically impossible number of the local population, Mulder and Scully are sent to investigate. Shortly after they arrive a poultry worker goes crazy and is shot dead by the local police. With the discovery of a number of mutilated skeletons in the local river, Mulder and Scully begin to suspect that chicken is not the staple diet of the local town folk.

2X25 ANASAZI (Aired - 05/19/95) (Part One)

The newest member of the Lone Gunman, the Thinker, hacks into the State Department computer, and downloads some of the closely guarded files. He passes them on to Mulder, he is drawn deeper, and deeper into the dangerous world of conspiracy. Scully, dealing with Mulder's strange behaviour, is trying to find answers, finds to the one man who can decode the sensitive documents about the governments knowledge of alien contact. The Smoking Man, who is also working to recover the stolen files, puts Mulder and Scully in even more danger.
